Trey Jameson recently presented at SAU

Trey Jameson, of Edgewood, Texas, recently presented lessons on Health, Kinesiology and Recreation to Magnolia public schools teachers.

Jameson is a senior Physical Education, Wellness & Leisure major.

Jameson presented on drugs, with its target audience being middle school students' ages 11-14 years. Her presentation addressed seven frameworks focused on giving real-life scenarios and learning ways to respond to those scenarios.

The Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation Department conducted the in-service training for the Physical Education staff from Magnolia Public Schools on February 17. SAU professors Dr. Jingyang Huang, Dr. George White and Steven D. Dingman facilitated the in-service training. The ten SAU students presented Methods & Materials in Kinesiology for Secondary and Middle Schools and delivered ten lesson ideas with lesson plan summaries and associated state frameworks.
