Talia Burton honored at SAU's Writing Contest

Talia Burton, of Borger, was recently named among the winners at the 2016 Southern Arkansas University Writing Contest.

Burton is a senior English major. She won first place in the Poetry category for "Fisher-Price Godzilla".

Winners not only earned prize money, but their work will also be considered for inclusion in the 2016 issue of Emergence, the SAU student literary publication.

The annual SAU Writing Contest is sponsored by the SAU Department of English and Foreign Languages.
