Sommer Walker graduates from SAU with honors

Sommer Walker from Hope, Ark., graduated with honors from Southern Arkansas University at the Spring Commencement on May 9, 2014.

Walker graduated Cum Laude. To qualify for a Cum Laude distinction, a student must earn a cumulative GPA from 3.8 to 3.9 at the end of their program.

Walker was a Biological Science major and graduated from the College of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree.
