Sierra Koonce earns a Bachelor of General Studies degree from SAU

Sierra Koonce graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Southern Arkansas University at the Fall Commencement ceremonies held on December 8, 2017.

Koonce is from Waskom, and was a General Studies major in the College of Liberal and Performing Arts.

SAU 2017 Honor Professor Dr. Abdel Bachri provided both commencement addresses. He currently serves as associate professor of physics, interim dean of the College of Science and Engineering, and the chair of the Department of Engineering and Physics.
