Shannon Huitt graduates from SAU with honors

Shannon Huitt from Smackover, Ark., graduated with honors from Southern Arkansas University at the Spring Commencement on May 9, 2014.

Huitt graduated Summa Cum Laude. To qualify for a Summa Cum Laude distinction, a student must have earned a cumulative GPA from 3.8 to 3.9 at the end of their program.

Huitt was a Criminal Justice major and graduated from the College of Liberal and Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Science degree.
