Sarah Whitney graduates from SAU with honors

Sarah Whitney from Springhill, La., graduated with honors from Southern Arkansas University at the Spring Commencement on May 9, 2014.

Whitney graduated Cum Laude. To qualify for a Cum Laude distinction, a student must earn a cumulative GPA from 3.8 to 3.9 at the end of their program.

Whitney was a Early Childhood Education major and graduated from the College of Education with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.
