Pranit Hamal of SAU named to Who's Who

Southern Arkansas University recently announced the 2016-17 student selections for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, and one of 11 earning this honor was Pranit Hamal of Kathmandu.

Hamal is a junior Computer Science major and the son of Prajani and Ramesh Hamal.

Some of Hamal's involvement on campus include the Residence Hall Council, Community Advisor and Resident Assistant for Housing, Brother-2-Brother, Honors College, the International Student Association, and the Student Activities Board. In addition to volunteer work with Making Magnolia Blossom, SAU Campus Cleanup, Blue and Gold Day, and the International Coastal Clean Up, Hamal has earned several awards, including the Outstanding Service Award and the 1911 Oustanding Staff Award for the Residence Hall Association.
