Patricia Guinn graduates with honors from SAU

Patricia Guinn from Marietta, TX, graduated with honors from Southern Arkansas University at the Fall Commencement ceremonies on December 12, 2014.

Guinn graduated Summa Cum Laude. To qualify for a Summa Cum Laude distinction, a student must have earned a cumulative GPA from 3.90 to 4.0 at the end of the program.

Guinn was a Biology-Pre Health major, and graduated from the College of Science and Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree.

This fall, SAU had more than 3,500 students enrolled on its Magnolia campus, breaking enrollment records.

Total enrollment for the semester was up 141 students over fall 2013, with 3,545 students registering for classes. Of those, 3,037 were undergraduates and 508 are pursuing graduate degrees, setting a new record for the School of Graduate Studies.
