Morgan Layssard of SAU named to Who's Who

Southern Arkansas University recently announced the 2016-17 student selections for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, and one of 11 earning this honor was Morgan LeAnn Layssard of Taylor.

Layssard is a senior Nursing (BSN) major and the daughter of Patricia and Eric Layssard.

Some of Layssard's involvement on campus include Phi Mu Fraternity, the Alpha Chi Honor Society, and the President's Ambassadors. In addition to volunteer work with the Arkansas Women's Outreach collection of supplies, Louisiana Flood Buckets, and Campus Cleanup, Layssard has earned several awards, including the BAM Leader of the Year, Greek Scholar, Tour Guide of the Year, Outstanding Service to Phi Mu, and Mulerider Leadership awards.

Who's Who Among Students is one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation, having earned the overwhelming respect of college faculties and administrations.
