Kaitlin Taylor visits junior high to promote STEM education

Southern Arkansas University's Kaitlin Taylor, of El Dorado, recently conducted STEM lessons with a sevent- and eighth-grade girls' STEM club at North Heights Junior High School in Texarkana, Ark.

Taylor is a junior Math and Science Middle School Education major and is part of a group of SAU's female Middle School Education STEM majors known as "G.R.I.T.S." (Girls Really InTo STEM). This group, led and formed by middle school education advisor Dr. Angela Stanford, aims to promote STEM education among schools in the area.
