Jessica Hammett of El Dorado named Outstanding Undergraduate Student for the Rankin College of Business at SAU

Jessica Hammett, of El Dorado , was recently honored as the Undergraduate Outstanding Student for the David F. Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University.

Hammett graduated with an Accounting degree at SAU's recent May commencement ceremony. While at SAU, Jessica was a member of the Business Student Advisory Council, which serves as an advisory board for the dean in the Rankin College of Business. She was a member of the Accounting Society and served as the organization's vice president. She was admitted to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for business students. Hammett was also a member of Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda, and competed in the 2016 Arkansas Leadership Conference.

Hammett is the daughter of Gary and Brenda Hammett of El Dorado, and is a 2012 graduate of Columbia Christian School.
