James Stone graduates from SAU with honors

James Stone from Delight, Ark., graduated with honors from Southern Arkansas University at the Spring Commencement on May 9, 2014.

Stone graduated Summa Cum Laude. To qualify for a Summa Cum Laude distinction, a student must have earned a cumulative GPA from 3.8 to 3.9 at the end of their program.

Stone was a Agricultural Education major and graduated from the College of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree.
