Gagandeep Singh elected to SAU's Student Government Association 2016-2017

Gagandeep Singh of New Boston was recently elected to be the Senator for the Rankin College of Business for Southern Arkansas University's Student Government Association for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Singh is a freshman Marketing major.

Students who serve on SAU's Student Government Association gain valuable leadership experience, and their voice is heard on campus. In recent years, SGA has successfully rallied to have a recreational facility added to campus. Administration supported their request, and the Mulerider Activity Center was constructed and has become a popular place for students who enjoy working out, playing basketball and other intramural sports.
