Gabrielle Davis of SAU named to Who's Who

Southern Arkansas University recently announced the 2016-17 student selections for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, and one of 11 earning this honor was Gabrielle Annette Davis of Magnolia.

Davis is a senior Political Science major and the daughter of Rebekah McDowell and Kenneth Davis.

Some of Davis's involvement on campus include Sister-2-Sister as well as being a member of the Student Government Association, Honors College, the Black Student Association, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and the President's Ambassadors. In addition to volunteer work with Making Magnolia Blossom, the Special Olympics, Upward Bound service baskets, and Arkansas Childrens Hospital Necessity Drive, Davis has earned several awards, including the Outstanding Service Awards for Alpha Kappa Alpha, Honors College, and Student Support Services.
