Caleb Parks named Outstanding Student from SAU's College of Science and Engineering

Caleb Parks, of Lewisville, will be recognized as the Outstanding Undergraduate Student from the College of Science and Engineering at Southern Arkansas University's Spring Commencement.

Parks will be graduating with a rare feat as a triple major in mathematics, physics and computer science.

Upon graduating from SAU, he plans to attend graduate school and continue his study of mathematics.

He has already acquired an academic publication, titled, "Use of time as a quantum key," in Arkansas Aerospace Proceedings. He has served as a tutor at SAU and been a student instructor.

SAU's will host three Spring Commencement ceremonies Friday, May 8, 2015. Nursing candidates will be recognized at 10 a.m., School of Graduate Studies at 2 p.m. and Undergraduate candidates in the University Mall at 7 p.m.
