Amanda Levin named Outstanding Undergraduate Student for the College of Education at SAU

Amanda Levin, of Drummonds, Tennessee, was recently honored as the Outstanding Undergraduate Student for the College of Education at Southern Arkansas University.

Levin graduated with an Elementary Education degree at SAU's recent May commencement ceremony. During her time at SAU, she served as a member of the Phi Mu Fraternity, the Arkansas Student Teachers Association, a President's Ambassador, and was selected to serve as the student member of the Teacher Education Committee. She also served as treasurer for Kappa Delta Pi and was a member of the Honors College throughout her student career.

Levin maintained 4.0 GPA, and was named Greek Scholar of the Year multiple times throughout her college career. She received the Leadership Award in 2014 and 2015, and was a Farmers Bank & Trust scholarship award winner. She was named women's golfer and Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2013 and 2014. Levin was also nominated to be on the Homecoming Court.
