Amanda Crye completes SAU orientation to Become A Mulerider

2014 Jun 30

Amanda Crye of Oklahoma City completed new student orientation at Southern Arkansas University's Becoming A Mulerider (BAM) event on June 5, 2014.

Crye was one of more than 50 incoming SAU students coming to this BAM event from Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and beyond.

BAM orientation follows the family-like traditions of SAU with each incoming student getting one-on-one advising to set his or her schedule for the fall semester. Students also become equipped with everything he or she needs to move onto campus in August and start the fall semester.

Parents also have an opportunity at BAM to learn more about SAU, financial aid, campus safety and dining, and have all of their questions answered.

SAU experienced a record-setting fall last year with three enrollment records surpassed, and registration is looking promising for this fall. But it is not too late for prospective students to apply to SAU, register for a BAM orientation, and become a Mulerider for August 2014.
